About
HI THERE, IāM HENK
Life is not meant to be walked alone and it is my goal to help you better understand and navigate the journey you are on. I know that it takes courage and vulnerability to seek counselling, and it is my hope that you will feel comfortable here.
I work with couples, families, and individuals (aged 10+) experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, self-harm, anger, and attachment issues. In my work I draw primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, attachment therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
I hold a MA degree in Counselling Psychology, Bachelor of Arts degree, and a BC Teaching certificate (with 12 years of teaching experience). My wife and I have been married for 12 years and have four children.
